The problem : The temperature gauge on my 2008 Impala LS (V6) stopped working. The message "Engine Hot A/C Off" was displayed. The temp gauge was completely dead - showing no temp. I replaced the the coolant temp sensor and verified electrical continuity on the harness wires and the attached connector contacts that mates to the sensor.
