The only way I think new soldiers are "soft" is that many of the post-covid soldiers have a lower level of fitness, but I think that's a consequence of spending a year or two of their teens pretty much locked indoors, and society as a whole being physically weaker.; but after 6 months in a unit that PTs well that's a non-issue.I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off.
