hey guys, purchased a 1981 IB date code HK91 last week. wondering what your thoughts are on the barrel/crown condition of this rifle. from the looks of the inside never been cleaned. was filthy. any life left to this? too corroded? i've only cleaned it with CLP. haven't tried anything...The barrel has "648" stamped twice near the chamber, a large "H" stamp, 12 flutes, and flash hider ratchet grooves. The chamber flutes look a bit too deep near the shoulder. The trunnion has a couple stamps as seen and is new and undrilled.
